You can make beautiful and varied walks in and around Booischot. Het Slaapmutsje is located near the hiking forest De Averegten and the valley of the Grote Nete. Whether you want to go for a short walk or a day-long hike, everything is possible.

The valley of the Grote Nete between Pallieterhoeve in Booischot and Kruiskensberg in Itegem is the largest open space in Heist-op-den-Berg. Natuurpunt lets you walk on Pallieter's trail.

Het Slaapmutsje is located between junctions 71 and 96 of the Antwerp Cycling Network. Provincie Antwerpen has mapped out routes nearby.

The Berg- en Neteroute allows you to explore the second highest 'mountain' in the province of Antwerp and the beautiful Nete valley around the municipality of Heist-op-den-Berg. Check out the route on kempen.be.

Near Booischot, you will find cities like Leuven (30 km), Mechelen (24 km) and Lier (19 km) that are worth visiting for their museums and numerous cultural activities.
